This honestly makes us just want the old version back on soooo bad. The basically EFFED reboot of Melrose Place is gathering familiar faces from the original series for one last hurrah before the CW cancels this mess faster than they evicted ASSlee Simpson !! The March 30th episode reunites Amanda Woodward with other mid-90s favorites Jo Reynolds , Michael Mancini , and Jane Andrews !!

I'm not sure what to say these days about The CW . Can we really call it a "network"? TBL , it has been offering only eight first-run hours of primetime content a week for most of the fall season.  

And according to my sources, that is precisely what we'll get a little later this season on the CW's Melrose Place , as not one, not two, not three but four alums from the original series will convene on the famous complex to party down. Clearly, Heather Locklear is one of them, as she made her triumphant and bitchtastic return tonight. (Can that girl still rock a miniskirt or what?)  

According to "Entertainment Weekly," the first season will feature a murder mystery involving characters Sydney Andrews (Laura Leighton) and Dr. Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro) from the original series, as well as a crop of new residents. Someone murdered Sydney! Again!  

There were a lot of dirty tricks on TV this week. Jo Reynolds (Daphne Zuniga) cajoled poor Riley into posing topless on Melrose Place . House and Foreman conducted an autopsy on a living person.

When we last left the crazy kids of The Complex, Riley had secured a modeling gig with Ella's client, Anton V, a famous denim designer. It just so happens that Riley's photo shoot -- where she will reluctantly be thrust into the limelight -- coincides with Jonah's meeting with movie producer, Andrew Misher, in which Jonah hopes to get his big Hollywood break.
